Product overview
Spectrum ReFill rPLA filament is a recycled PLA refill for education, prototyping and design work. Spectrum makes it from residual material created during its extrusion process, combining easy PLA-like printing and low shrinkage with a spool-free ReFill format. Each refill is wound on a cardboard core for a compatible reusable spool, so users can keep an existing spool in service instead of receiving another plastic spool with the filament.
Recycled rPLA for visual and design work
Spectrum documents ReFill rPLA for educational projects, product visualisation, prototyping, industrial design, interior design and concept models. This gives design studios, workshops, schools and makerspaces a recycled PLA option for physical models that communicate an idea, form or layout. It is a focused choice for documented visual and concept-led applications rather than a generic material claim.
Easy PLA-like printing with low shrinkage
The series is positioned for easy PLA-like printing and low shrinkage. Those characteristics support the application range above, from classroom projects and early prototypes to presentation and concept models. The material keeps the practical, approachable character expected from PLA while using recycled feedstock from extrusion residual waste.
How the ReFill format works
ReFill rPLA arrives on a cardboard core without a supplied plastic spool and is mounted on a compatible reusable spool before printing. Spectrum documents compatibility with BambuLab reusable spools and also provides a printable Spectrum spool option. For customers already using a reusable spool, choosing this refill avoids receiving another single-use plastic spool while keeping the material ready for the same design, education and prototyping applications.
