Product overview
Spectrum ReFill rPETG is the refill-format member of Spectrum’s rPETG line. It gives buyers a clearly defined product for development and model work while keeping the format, material behaviour and official use cases easy to compare. Each section below addresses one of those buying criteria directly.
ReFill format and material origin
The ReFill format reduces plastic waste associated with disposable spools. Its filament comes from PETG extrusion residual waste that is collected, processed and homogenised before returning to production. These features give the product a distinct material and packaging rationale for buyers evaluating this version. They also provide a concrete account of how the input material is recovered and prepared.
Exact rPETG behaviour
Printing behaviour is similar to standard PETG, easing adoption for existing PETG users. Low shrinkage after cooling helps printed geometry retain its intended form. The recycled material also retains PETG durability and chemical resistance, supporting printed parts that need more than appearance alone. That combination provides a familiar route into the series while preserving useful performance in the finished print.
Supported uses and audiences
Official uses cover prototypes, educational projects, product visualisation and concept or design models. Schools can use the series for teaching objects; development teams for physical review pieces; design studios for visualisation and concept work. Individual makers fit the same scope when producing one of these supported project types.
