Product overview
Fiberlogy ABS+GF is a glass-fibre-reinforced ABS filament for functional parts that must remain stiff, strong and dimensionally accurate. Compared with standard ABS, it offers higher rigidity and strength together with lower shrinkage and warping. Large or complex parts are therefore easier to keep under control. A matte surface also conceals layer lines and gives finished components a clean, professional appearance.
More stable, more rigid ABS
The glass-fibre reinforcement makes this material well suited to parts that should not flex easily under load and must retain their shape. Lower warping supports better dimensional stability, especially when printing broad, detailed or geometrically complex components.
- High stiffness and strength: useful for mechanically stressed parts, brackets and structural elements.
- Dimensional stability: helps large parts and mating components maintain their intended geometry.
- Practical durability: a balanced combination of impact, wear and temperature resistance supports demanding functional use.
- Professional finish: the matte texture masks visible layers and suits end-use parts as well as presentation-ready prototypes.
Applications for workshops and functional production
Fiberlogy ABS+GF is designed for technical work that requires more rigidity than standard ABS. It is a strong option for stressed parts for 3D printers, drone components, lightweight structures, clamps and protective covers. In automotive and engineering work, it suits reinforced accessories, interior components and durable brackets.
Workshops and production teams can use it for jigs and fixtures, vices, workshop equipment and rigid, durable prototypes. Its wear resistance also suits components exposed to repeated friction and mechanical wear, including bushings and gears. The same properties benefit one-off functional components, replacement parts and repeat production where accurate shape and a professional surface matter.
Use the correct nozzle
Glass fibres are genuinely abrasive. Print with a hardened-steel, ruby or equivalent wear-resistant nozzle. A standard brass nozzle can wear quickly and should not be used for regular printing with this material.
Use suitable protective equipment during post-processing. Wear safety goggles and respiratory protection when sanding, drilling or otherwise machining printed parts to reduce exposure to glass-fibre dust.
Choose Fiberlogy ABS+GF when standard ABS does not provide enough rigidity or dimensional control and the part must combine demanding functional performance with a professional finish.
