What this material needs from the printer
Devil Design PA12 is an expert-level material with high processing shrinkage. A stable thermal environment and reliable bed adhesion are important, especially for larger or more solid parts. An enclosed printer is recommended, while part cooling should remain low or disabled. Use a nylon-compatible build surface or adhesive to reduce lifting at the edges.
PA12 also absorbs moisture from the air. Keep the spool dry and dry the filament after moisture exposure before starting an important print. This improves extrusion consistency and surface quality.
When to choose Devil Design PA12
Choose this series when impact strength, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance and long part life are central to the job. It rewards controlled printing with functional nylon parts for prototypes, maintenance work and workshop equipment.
