3DPower Basic ABS is a hard, tough filament with heat resistance and lower brittleness than PLA. It is suitable for functional prototypes, mechanical components and end-use parts. Stable extrusion and good layer adhesion support broad FDM printer use, giving workshops, schools and production teams a defined ABS series for practical parts.
Material qualities for functional parts
Hardness and toughness are central ABS characteristics in this series. Lower brittleness than PLA distinguishes its material character from that alternative. Surface refinement and supply condition
ABS supports acetone-vapour post-processing for surface smoothing, adding a finishing option for parts that need a smoother appearance. The filament is vacuum packed with a moisture absorber. Broad FDM compatibility and the supplied moisture absorber provide separate equipment and packaging considerations for procurement teams.
