Product overview
Fiberlogy PLA+CF filament combines the familiar printing behaviour of a PLA matrix with carbon-fibre reinforcement for greater stiffness and mechanical strength. It is a practical step beyond standard PLA for functional prototypes, rigid components and moderately demanding technical parts. High dimensional stability, low shrinkage and a matte surface support accurate geometry and a clean finish in prototyping and technical printing work.
Why choose Fiberlogy PLA+CF
The carbon fibres reinforce the PLA matrix, giving printed parts more rigidity and mechanical strength than standard PLA. The material keeps the easy printing typical of PLA. This balance makes PLA+CF useful when a part needs to be stiffer and mechanically stronger without moving to a more demanding carbon-fibre nylon workflow.
Its high dimensional stability and low shrinkage help reproduce designed details accurately. These qualities are valuable for repeated functional prototypes and technical parts where geometry must remain consistent. The material is also suitable for high-speed printing.
Functional and presentation-ready parts
Fiberlogy PLA+CF suits functional prototypes, rigid parts and technical components with moderate demands. It also works for presentation models and aesthetic prints. The matte, carbon-like surface reduces the visibility of layer lines, so the same material can produce functional parts with a professional appearance.
This is a PLA-based composite, not a nylon-based carbon-fibre grade. Choose this series when you want familiar PLA printing behaviour with a more rigid result, stable dimensions and a distinctive matte surface.
Plan for an abrasive filament
Carbon-fibre reinforcement is highly abrasive. A hardened steel or ruby nozzle is required, so prepare the printer accordingly before starting a job. Use gloves when handling the material. During processing and handling, wear a dust mask and safety goggles.
